Katie has lived the majority of her life in district 6 and was always proud to call it her home. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and has earned her masters from Harvard University. For over a decade in the financial sector, Katie worked alongside diverse teams to navigate complex challenges, and to deliver impactful results. Katie is focused on building a more sustainable future - one where communities thrive, businesses grow responsibly, and opportunities are accessible to everyone. She believes that real change starts with understanding the needs of others and working together to create solutions that last.

Her passion is rooted in her own upbringing, where she grew up watching her parents work tirelessly to provide for their family and to create opportunities for her to succeed. Their commitment to hard work and the sacrifices they made fostered the deep respect that Katie has for the working class.
From an early age, Katie understood the challenges that working families face and the strength it takes to overcome them. Her mission is to uplift the working class families through better wages, affordable healthcare, access to quality education, and pathways to economic security.
Driven by the values instilled in her by her parents’ hard work, Katie believes that every family deserves the resources and support to succeed. She firmly believes that when working class families succeed, we all succeed.
